HISTORY
The Redfish Lake Triathlon and Duathlon is proud to partner with 3 Disciplines Racing. They are a race management company out of Michigan and they have managed the race the last two years. During our first year, our race was advertised as a triathlon only. Because of the unusual amount of snow fall, the water temps were cooler than normal. On May 13, 2008, we added the option of the duathlon for those who were not comfortable with the swim. Both the triathlon and duathlon were very popular, so we decided to keep both options for athletes. Due to the cold weather last year, we will be holding this year's races an hour later at 10:00 am so that the temps can be a little higher.
The feedback and response from the athletes and volunteers has been overwhelmingly positive. Our pre-race dinner and post-race luncheon was gourmet and we plan to do even better this year. This race has it all: spectacular setting, mountain home hospitality, gourmet food (included in registration fee), family friendly atmosphere, and lots of reasons to come early and stay longer!
